The Dunedin Ice Hockey Association runs a beginner programme throughout the season and a non-checking junior league before and after the regular season.
Beginners (Kiwihockey)
Kiwihockey is a beginners ice hockey programme for youth, which is based on the philosophy of keeping kids active on the ice through the use of small area games, skills‐based stations, and kids enjoying hockey.

Junior Non-Checking League
We run the Junior Non-Checking League, commonly referred to as the Junior DIHL, in autumn and in spring, with teams playing approximately six matches before the playoff rounds.
