The Southern Knights womens team have demolished their opposition in the New Zealand National Ice Hockey Championships. Final results: Canterbury 6 Auckland 1, Southern 12 Auckland 0, Southern 10 Canterbury 3, Canterbury 4 Auckland 1, Southern 11 Auckland 1 and Southern 5 Canterbury 0.

The Southern Knights womens team demolished Auckland 12 – 0 tonight in the New Zealand National Ice Hockey Championships womens division. Five Dunedin based players are on the Southern Knights womens team including Jenel Bode, Megan Gilchrist, Zanzee Pielak-Jones, Mallory Handcock and Jaimee Woods.
