Practise time rundown
There has been some confusion over pratice times recently. Below is a list of practice times compiled from various sources within the hockey community.
- Peewees 6pm Tuesday, begins 26th February
- Dunedin Thunder Pre-season training 7pm Tuesday
- Midgets 6pm Thursday
- Non-checking 7pm Thursday, begins 28th February
- Open Contact 8pm Thursday, begins 28th February
- Open Senior practice – replaced by Non-checking and Open Contact
Practice fees are $350 for the year. This needs to be paid in two installments, half by March 31st and the rest by June 2nd 2008. Information about how many practices you will receive for your money is unknown.
There is no Junior grade for 2008, so Junior players are allowed to attend the Open Contact practice and/or SNC practice.
The Dunedin Thunder Pre Season Training costs $10 per player. It is not known at this stage if these sessions are covered by the season long practice fee or not. Players 16 years and up are eligible to attend this session.
